Prerequisites: CCNA or equivalent experience. A telephony background or training is preferred. Experience installing, configuring and maintaining PABX systems is preferred.  

Audience: Technician, designers and field support personnel who must install, configure and maintain Cisco Call Manager solutions. 

Objectives: Upon successful completion students will be able to:
  • Install and upgrade Cisco Unified Call Manager 6.0 configuration
  • Administer Cisco Unified Call Manager
  • Describe LDAP integration
  • Describe the function of TAPS
  • Implement MGCP Gateway
  • Describe and configure CSS and partitions
  • Configure digit manipulation
  • Configure media resources MOH and conferencing
  • Install and program IP Phone sets
  • Configure H323 and SIP endpoints
  • Develop and deploy a dialing plan
  • Deploy route plans and route filters
  • Deploy multi-site configurations
  • Configure basic features and services
  • Configure IP Phones and softphones with SIP and SCCP
  • Integrate CUCM with Unity
  • Configure Call Park, Privacy, Barge, Call Pickup, and Intercom
  • Implement Presence
