Prerequisites: Fully familiar with the Meridian 1/CS1000 basic database  

Audience: Personnel responsible for installing, operating and maintaining the Meridian 1/SL-1 systems 

Objectives: Upon successful completion students will be able to:
  • program the Network and Basic Automatic Route Selection database (NARS/BARS)
  • program the Coordinated Dialing Plan (CDP) database
  • examine the Network Traffic measurement outputs

  • time of day scheduling
  • network class of service
  • routing controls and route lists
  • digit manipulation tables
  • facility restriction levels
  • off-hook queuing
  • priority queuing
  • network signaling
  • authorization codes
  • network call transfer
  • network speed call

Activities: Lecture, individual and group work projects
